The manufacture of large-scale components is possible due to our production areas of 40,500 m², production halls of up to 9,500 m², the necessary mechanical equipment, and a berth suitable for seagoing vessels. Components with high unit weights up to 600 tons can be produced and transported from here. Thus large, heavy constructions that are dependant from the seaway and cannot be moved on roads and rails can be realized for our national and international purchasers.

HESTIA – Construction of a boiler house

The order included the manufacture, delivery and assembly of a boiler plant for a tank storage including enclosure and EMSR as well as the measuring of the installation site, construction of the isometries, the prefabrication and the installation under strict QM control, the transportation and installation of the pipes. JHK produced the necessary components and apparatuses within 12 weeks.

Heat recovery system for a waste-to-energy-plant

Construction of steam-steam heat exchangers with integrated 1388 m² tube bundles and feedwater heaters. The order included the construction and statical analysis of the tanks and the thermal and fluid-dynamic analysis of the heating surfaces, the preparation of all necessary documents for the preliminary testing of the heat exchangers and their processing and the construction under strictest QM control.

Test permanent lines up to 1100 bar test pressure of special steel

The order included the manufacture, delivery and assembly of pipelines for compression trains for a free-field test bench including the measuring of the installation site, con-struction of the isometries, prefabrication and installation under strictest QM control, transportation and installation of the pipes.

Bell gasholder repair – welding high up

The guidance system of the bell gasholder for VCM was to be renewed and refurbished during a 10 day plant downtime. In order to weld all 10 guide rails newly to the bell gasholder it was necessary to mount the 135 t bell gasholder onto specially manufactured double supports in a water basin above the water level.
