As of 2020 we welcome 40 new colleagues to the J.H.K. Group. On November 27, 2019, the sales contract for the transition of the Regeniter Group in Essen was signed. As of January 2020 the business is continued in the newly established J.H.K. Regeniter GmbH. Ulrich Regeniter will still direct the company as managing director.

The Regeniter Group was founded in 1900 as a locksmith’s shop by the great grandfather of Ulrich Regeniter and has since then developed as one of the leading steel and equipment engineering companies in the field of thermotechnical equipment.

For J.H.K. this expansion does not only mean a new attractive site in the Ruhr area, but with ThyssenKrupp and arcelor we gain new customers from steel industry that were hardly covered so far. Even more important is rounding off the range of services as we gain considerable machine capacities in the processing of large geometries, which we did not have before.

For some time Mr Regeniter had already dealt with the question of the future setting of his company. Ulrich Regeniter: “For our company I see a lot of interesting expansion possibilities that I did not want to start alone but with a partner. I am sure and glad that I have now found in the J.H.K. Group a traditional family business that matches up with similar roots and values. We were able to find this out quickly during mutual visits to our plants and initial discussions with customers. This was very important to me.”

Julius Kramer: “In spring 2019 we explained our strategy 2026 during a management workshop and made clear that we want to grow externally if we can achieve an entry in new regions and markets or an interesting rounding off of our range of services. We are glad that we could realize one important building block of our strategy so quickly with the purchase of the Regeniter group. We are looking forward to our new colleagues.”
